Data Center and Policy Experts will Examine Next-Generation Trends and Technologies – Sept. 28-29 in Arlington, VA

Arlington, Va. (September 2, 2015) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the leading association representing the manufacturers and suppliers of high-tech communications networks, announced today it will bring together top data center and policy experts at its Data Center Workshop. The workshop will include a tour of a local data center and feature a day-long discussion about the critical issues facing data-driven technologies including cybersecurity concerns and the impact of trade agreements on data center operators.

TIA’s Data Center Workshop, held September 28-29, will begin with an afternoon tour of RagingWire’s data center. The second day will take place at TIA headquarters in Arlington, Va. and the program will experts from American Systems, Allot, Cisco, Current Analysis, U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration, Dell, Insignia Technology Service, RagingWire, Verizon, and others. The group will address next-generation data center trends, best practices for physical data center security, addressing distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, and the challenges of cross-border data flows as every facet of government, commercial, and individual life becomes increasingly digitized.
