Executives from Ericsson and Juniper Networks Join TIA Board of Directors

Arlington, VA (February 19, 2015) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the leading association representing the manufacturers and suppliers of high-tech communications networks, today announced Glenn Laxdal of Ericsson Inc. and Michael Marcellin of Juniper Networks have been added to its Board of Directors.

As vice president of technology and advanced solutions for Ericsson’s North American region, Glenn Laxdal is responsible for driving the company’s technology direction and innovation in emerging technologies. Laxdal has previously held executive roles with RIM, Airvana, and Nortel Networks.

Michael Marcellin is senior vice president of strategy and marketing at Juniper Networks and leads business strategy and marketing for Juniper’s high-performance routing, switching and security products. Prior to joining Juniper in 2010, Marcellin held executive roles with Verizon and MCI.
