TIA 2015 Startups Competition Offers Prizes, Exposure for Most Innovative Communications Technology Ventures

Early Stage Companies Invited to Apply; Competition Takes Place June 3 During TIA Annual Conference

Arlington, Va. (March 18, 2015) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the leading association representing the manufacturers and suppliers of high-tech communications networks, today announced its special Startups Competition in Dallas, taking place June 3rd during its upcoming Network of the Future Conference. The TIA Startups Competition will showcase some of the nation’s top early-stage information and communications technology (ICT) companies, allowing them to present their innovations before a panel of industry leaders and conference attendees.

Any early-stage communications technology company with an innovative product, service or solution and a practical business plan with genuine market opportunity is invited to apply. All entries must be submitted online.

All finalists selected to present at the Startups Competition will gain valuable industry exposure. In addition, judges will choose one first-place winner, who will receive a $5,000 prize, and up to two runners-up, who will each receive a $1,500 prize. Winners will also receive a one year TIA membership and several promotional opportunities, including an interview on TIA’s online video network, TIA NOW.
