TIA Telehealth Event to Showcase Latest e-Health Technologies & Address Policy Implications

Taking Place on Capitol Hill on Wed., Feb 4, Showcase will Feature Members of Congress; Samsung, Dell, Blackberry & Other Leading Companies

Arlington, VA. (February 2, 2015) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the leading association representing the manufacturers and suppliers of high-tech communications networks, will hold a special telehealth event on Wednesday to explore the latest technologies driving this dynamic industry and examine the public policy implications. The event, which is being organized by TIA and the HIMSS Foundation’s Institute for e-Health Policy, will be hosted by U.S. Reps. Greg Harper (R-MS) and Peter Welch (D-VT).

The Telehealth Technologies Remote Monitoring and Patient-Generated Health Data Showcase & Reception will feature more than 20 leading industry and government organizations, along with members of Congress. Exhibitors will include Blackberry, Dell, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Panasonic, Qualcomm, Samsung, UL and others.
