TIA’s Network of the Future 2018 will Identify Solutions for Advancing Network Infrastructure and Accelerating Connectivity
Executives From AT&T, Verizon Wireless, and others to Deliver Keynotes at Texas Conference
Arlington, VA (April 25,2018) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the leading association representing the manufacturers and suppliers of high-tech communications networks, today announced featured speakers and events for its Network of the Future 2018, a conference to discuss the infrastructure and technology solutions needed to accelerate connectivity.
The conference, which takes place June 5-6 in Plano, TX, will include keynote speeches from AT&T Business Vice President of Internet of Things Shiraz Hasan, Verizon Wireless Executive Director of Network Support Systems Sankaran Ramanathan, and others. Hasan and Ramanathan will deliver back-to-back addresses on June 5 and TIA CEO Wes Johnston will deliver an address on “Shaping the Future of TIA” on June 6
TIA’s Network of the Future conference will convene ICT industry leaders to discuss the communications infrastructure necessary for accelerating connectivity, including Next-Generation Wireless, Virtualization, Interoperability, Security, and Quality Assurance. The conference will also feature a special Technology Showcase displaying cutting-edge communications technologies that are transforming transportation, public safety, energy, smart cities and other industries.
Specific scheduled sessions involving industry experts will include “Densification: Aligning Technology And Policy With Market Opportunity,” “Enhancing Cyber and Physical Security,” “Smart Buildings Lay The Foundation For Smart Communities,” “Quality Assurance, Business Performance, and Sustainability Best Practices,” and “Powering 5G Networks.” Executive panels and a series of “Short Takes” also fill the two-day program. Additionally, Global Sustainability Awards will recognize companies achieving excellence in corporate sustainability based on output from the QuEST Sustainability Assessor tool.
