TIA issues New FAST Digital IF Architecture and Open Standard Digital IF Interfaces Standard
Arlington, VA (May 10, 2016) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released a new document, ANSI/TIA-5041 FAST Digital IF Architecture and Open Standard Digital IF Interfaces.
ANSI/TIA-5041 specifies requirements to define a standard interface to connect modems, switches and transmitters at a digital intermediate frequency
ANSI/TIA-5041 was formulated under the cognizance of the TIA TR-34 Satellite Equipment & Systems, TR-34 Satellite Equipment & Systems subcommittee.
