TIA Issues New Interoperability Specification (IOS) for Evolved High Rate Packet Data (eHRPD) Radio Access Network Interfaces and Interworking with Enhanced Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN) Standard
Arlington, VA (March 30, 2015) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released a new document, TIA-1142-C Interoperability Specification (IOS) for Evolved High Rate Packet Data (eHRPD) Radio Access Network Interfaces and Interworking with Enhanced Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN).
TIA-1142-C specifies requirements for transposition of A.S0022-C v1.0 for the description for LTE-eHRPD SON and support exHRPD (as needed).
TIA-1142-C was formulated under the cognizance of the TIA TR-45 Mobile and Point-to-Point Communications Standards, TR-45.4 Radio to Switching Technology - Mobile and Personal Communications Standards subcommittee.
