associated common-channel signaling

Common-channel signaling in which the signal channel is associated with a specific trunk group and terminates at the same pair of switches as the trunk group. (188) Note: In associated common-channel signaling, the signaling is usually accomplished by using the same facilities as the associated trunk group.
