(June 26, 2017) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.10 Engineering Committee on Trunking and Conventional Control has issued a call for interest for document ANSI/TIA-102.AABC-D-2 initially titled "Trunking Control Channel Messages Addendum 2- Vehicle Sensed Emergency".

TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for Absolute Optical Power Test for Optical Fibers and Cables

(June 16, 2017) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-42.12 Engineering Committee on Optical Fibers and Cables has issued a call for interest for document ANSI/TIA-455-95-B initially titled "Absolute Optical Power Test for Optical Fibers and Cables".  This revision defines a method for determining the total optical power emanating from an optical fiber.
