Public safety communications standard(s) dedicated to ensuring interoperability in communications.

The Project 25 (P25) series standards effort represents a high level of cooperation between the companies that build the products and the Public Safety and Public Services agencies that deploy them. It also represents a commitment by all concerned to achieve common goals and objectives that benefit TIA members, the public safety community and most importantly the public at large. The Project 25 standard series enables interoperability among multiple manufacturers’ P25 products designed to the P25 standard.

TIA works with its standards provider, IHS Global Inc., and implemented a new mechanism for distribution of the P25 series to qualified U.S. government entities free of charge. The qualified U.S. government requester must fill the form below and initiate a request for access to P25 documents managed by TIA.
