TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for Trunking Control Channel Messages Addendum 1
Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.
Arlington VA. (February 18, 2016) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.10 Engineering Committee on Trunking and Conventional Control has issued a call for interest for document ANSI/TIA-102.AABC-D-1 initially titled Trunking Control Channel Messages Addendum 1. TR-8.10 is developing guidelines which adds enhancements to the Emergency Alert Request message to indicate an emergency generated internally or externally to the subscriber unit.
The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: P25 Manufacturers and Users.
TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
