TIA issues New Mobile Equipment (ME) Conformance Testing with CDMA Card Application Toolkit

Arlington, VA (April 24, 2014) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released a new document, TIA-4969-A, Mobile Equipment (ME) Conformance Testing with CDMA Card Application Toolkit.

The TIA-4969-A revision is being developed to add test cases that will provide a more complete test solution. Some of the tests to be added include launching a browser and BIP.

TIA-4969-A was formulated under the cognizance of the TIA TR-45 Mobile and Point-to-Point Communications Standards, TR-45.5 Spread Spectrum Digital Technology -- Mobile and Personal Communications Standards
