TIA Issues a Call for Interest on New Project for Project 25, Phase 2 Two-Slot Time Division Multiple Access, Transceiver Measurement Methods

Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.

Arlington VA. (September 9, 2015) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.1 Engineering Committee on Equipment Measurement Procedures has issued a call for interest for document TIA-102.CCAA-B initially titled Project 25, Phase 2 Two-Slot Time Division Multiple Access, Transceiver Measurement Methods. TR-8.1 is developing guidelines to revise the existing document to correct for an error in the formulas in section 2.2.17.3 of the document, and to add a procedure for testing performance of receivers with class D audio power amplifiers."

The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: Public Safety Radio Users & Manufactures of P25.

TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
