TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for Project 25 - Inter-RF Subsystem Interface (ISSI) - Messages and Procedures for Supplementary Data - Addendum 1 - Emergency Alarm message expansion

Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.

Arlington VA. (June 21, 2016) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.19 Engineering Committee on Wireline System Interfaces has issued a call for interest for document TIA-102.BACD-B-1 initially titled Project 25 - Inter-RF Subsystem Interface (ISSI) - Messages and Procedures for Supplementary Data - Addendum 1 - Emergency Alarm message expansion. TR-8.19  has a project to expand the existing Emergency Alarm CAI request message to indicate that the emergency alarm request has been generated by conditions other than depression of the emergency alarm button. This project is in anticipation of supporting the revised Emergency Alarm message on the ISSI.

The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: ISSI product developers, radio system operators, radio system maintainers, and those interested in the ISSI standard.

TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
