TIA’s (TIA) TR-42 Engineering Committee on Telecommunications Cabling Systems has issued a call for interest for the fourth revision of three ANSI/TIA-568 standards, specifically: ANSI/TIA-568.0-D, entitled "Generic Telecommunications Cabling for Customer Premises;" TIA-568.1-D, entitled "Commercial Building Telecommunications Cabling Standard;" and ANSI/TIA-568.3-D, entitled "Optical Fiber Cabling Component Standard."
