TIA Issues Call for Interest on New Project for Data Overview and Specification

Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.

Arlington VA. (May 19, 2015) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.5 Engineering Committee on Signaling and Data Transmission has issued a call for interest for document TIA-102.BAEA-C initially titled Data Overview and Specification. TR-8.5 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: The objective of this document is to provide an overview of TIA-102 Data Services. The information necessary to enable interoperable interfaces, services, and functionality for TIA-102 Data Services is provided in this document or referenced in other documents as appropriate.

The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: APCO Project 25, Private Land Mobile Radio manufacturers and users.

TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
