TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for Inter-RF Subsystem Interface Interoperability Test Procedures for Trunked Voice Operation Involving the ISSI

Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.

Arlington VA. (May 29, 2014) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.19 Engineering Committee on Wireline System Interfaces has issued a call for interest for document TIA-102.CACD-C initially titled "Inter-RF Subsystem Interface Interoperability Test Procedures for Trunked Voice Operation Involving the ISSI". This revision defines additional configurations for testing the interoperability of Trunked Systems involving the ISSI when TDMA Trunked Voice Channels are part of the Trunked Systems.

The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: Land Mobile Radio system manufacturers, users, testers, and managers.

TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
