TIA issues New Interoperability Specification (IOS) for cdma2000® Access Network Interfaces to Parts 1 through 7 in the Fourth revision and Parts 1 through 7 in the Fifth revision
Arlington, VA (May 7, 2014) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released 14 new addenda updating the TIA-2001.1 ~ 7-D and TIA-2001.1~7-E standards which address interoperability for cdma2000® Access Network Interfaces. These new addenda include support for USSD on the access channel, requirements for A1/A1p support of M2M IOS enhancements and message flows, as well as general documentation improvements.

The above standards were formulated under the cognizance of the TIA TR-45 Mobile and Point-to-Point Communications Standards, TR-45.4 Radio to Switching Technology - Mobile and Personal Communications Standards
