TIA issues Three New TDMA Third Generation Wireless Standards

Arlington, VA (September 11, 2014) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released three new parts of the TDMA 3G interoperability suite of standards. 

The following parts incorporate support for 3GPP GERAN Release 9 and also include support for Overload class 12 as per TSB-16-B

TIA/EIA-136-000-I, TDMA Third General Wireless List of Parts

TIA/EIA-136-123-I, TDMA Third Generation Wireless Digital Control Channel Layer 3

TIA/EIA-136-140-C, TDMA Third Generation Wireless - Analog Control Channel

TIA/EIA-136 was formulated under the cognizance of the TIA TR-45 Mobile and Point-to-Point Communications Standards, TR-45.3 Time Division Digital Technology - Mobile and Personal Communications Standards subcommittee.
