Version 2.0; January 2004
The Committee EDC and Chair are responsible for the content of the FTP site directories they manage. Any document can be uploaded to the FTP site as long as it complies with TIA Legal Guidelines found under Annex B of the TIA Engineering Manual.
Please notify your committee that files should be placed in the "Public" or "Working" directories. The "Public" directory is intended to be used by the entire committee for both uploading and downloading documents. As a general policy, it contains the meeting notice, agenda and report. The Public directory is open to anonymous login for download. The "Working" directory is intended as a location where the committee can download documents, however, only the EDC can upload documents. As a general policy, this directory is intended for any contributions that are only to be distributed to the committee and any draft standards. The EDC can create subdirectories within either of these directories.
After you receive a "T-number" from the standards secretariat, your meeting agenda(s) may be uploaded to your committee's FTP folder in one of two ways:
All formal distributions of meeting notices and agenda must be made through the Standards Secretariat who can be contacted at (703) 907-7735 or stdsec@tiaonline.org. Posting the meeting notice or agenda to the FTP site does not constitue formal distribution of the information.
After you receive legal approval for your report from the standards secretariat, the EDC of the committee may post them to the FTP site by any means mentioned above. Each committee must disseminate the username and password information during meetings.
A summary of the latest actions taken by the respective TIA engineering committees.
This white paper analyzes how TIA's engineering committees could address existing cloud computing standardization gaps.
This manual describes the manner in which the standards activities of TIA are organized and the manner in which its activities are conducted.
