TIA unveiled its 2014 Playbook. The useful reference tool includes a snapshot view of TIA’s 2014 Innovation Agenda released earlier this year, as well as useful industry and consumer data derived from TIA Market Intelligence that supports each of the policy areas identified as priorities.
TIA submitted comments to the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) regarding the ITC’s investigation, “Trade, Investment, and Industrial Policies in India: Effects on the U.S. Economy.” The ITC is conducting an investigation regarding industrial policies of the Government of India that discriminate against U.S. imports and investment in order to support Indian domestic industries, and the effect that those barriers have on the U.S. economy and U.S. jobs.
TIA submitted comments to the FCC's Wireline Competition Bureau, which is seeking input on three issues raised in the E-rate Modernization NPRM. In its comments, TIA backed recommendations for a “Whole Network” funding model that allows schools to place their own priorities on the services they receive.
